lana and ashley

i think art is the most beautiful when it makes you feel. deep emotions. sounds, smells, or visuals that evoke emotions. things that make you feel, they make you feel alive. even if it is a negative feeling.

i love lana and halsey because their words just make you feel things you never knew you could, even if you have never had that experience before. and it's a complex layer of emotions, not just solely happy or sad. like when you get a tattoo, obviously you feel some level of pain, but if it's only pain you're getting out of it, would you be doing it willingly? or do you get pleasure and sense of accomplishment out of it? because sometimes in life we experience things that are hard to encapsulate in 1 simplistic adjective, but a melody would perfectly deliver. i think that's real art.
